To Dance whit the eyes closed

To dance for me is more than a hobby, is a passion. In my free time, usually I sleep xD, but that is not my favorite activity. Each saturday, each week, since the 13:00 hours to 15:00 hours I took classes of contemporary dance on the Cultural Center “Reencuentro” on Renca district. I took that classes seven years ago.

My school friend of that time, Lorena, danced in that place and she invited me. Since the first day I love that classes because the music they use is “neofolklore”, for example like Inti-Illimani, Victor Jara. To dace contemporary dance like me too because is a beautiful technique, and the people of the Cultural Center “Reencuentro” are very special. Meet us sence that was little girls and we have grown together.

In my daily life, when I listen music whit my headphones, I close my eyes and imgine myself dancing a choreografy invented by my, and this fantasy includes lighting scenery, are very elaborate thoughts.

Dance is fun and is good for body and soul, is very healthy. I engoy dancing, really or in my mind, because I feel music on my skin and I forget all unpleasant things.

The earthquake and my

Always I had asked me, how is a earthquake? How to feel me on a earthquake? Well, the 27 of february of this year, I had my answer. That saturday, luckily, I was in my home, sleeping in my bed. My mather and brother were in home too, and that not happen hardly ever.

That night, all went to eat out. Our dinner was sushi, in a japanese restorant of Providencia. We went there because I had money because in my job had payed recently and I invited at my family.

When arrived at home, we went to the bed immediately, by tiredness, we were exhausted, but not sleeping for much time. At 3:34 am, we woke up, I was the last. All people tell amazings stories about of the earthquake, but in my case, was a calm story. Nobody in my family loosed the control, we got under of the door while the earth moved under our feets. When the earthquake stoped, my brother walked in the darkness and brought our shoes.

In that moment I thought to myself, where was the epicenter? Then, hours later, I knew everithing. That summer, I worked on the newspaper, El Mercurio, and traveled for all affected zones. A unforgettable summer.

Typewriter; a before and a later

My favourite piece of technology is the typewriter, yes, the old machine. The typewriter is a revolotionary invention, changed the history of the communications and of the written work on the world. Thanks to the typewriter were born the books, write and read changed for ever with this tool, exist a before and a later. Whit the typewriter has been opened a lot of opportunities for expand the knowledges without fronteirs.

I never have used a typewriter in good state, but I have had someone in my hands for look and touch. I realy like this machine because I think that haves a special mystique. For example, on the movie “The secret of your eyes” is a importan element of the story, that typewriter don´t wrote the leter “A”, and that influenced on the unconscious of the staring.

Actually, the typewriter is obsolete, the computer substituted at the old device with a set of keys that, when pressed, cause characters to be printed on a medium, usually paper.

My favourite song at the moment

In this moment and all time my favourite song is “If I ain't got you” by Alicia Keys. The song talk about not only that love, also talk that our society. Alicia Keys sing with a pasion in her voice unparalleled. When I listen this song, I close my eyes, and the time stops for five minutes, her voice paralyzes me. I don't remember when I heard the song for first time, maybe five or six year ago.

Alicia Keys is from american (U.S), is a mulata woman and usually write pop songs, love song, but she is different to other singers like Cristina Agulera, or Beyonce, because Alicia have a sensibility only. Her songs have a mixture between soul and ballad style.

Well, “If I ain't got you” is for me like a filosophy of life, when the world becoms crazy and hard, I listen this song and recovery the peace, the way. It´s my card under the sleeve.

I recommend listen the song on live, or the Unplugged almub version, because the contact of Alicia with the piano is amazing, remember me at the music of Ray Charls, but that is other story.

Engoy!!!

“If I ain't got you” by Alicia Keys

Some people live for the fortune
Some people live just for the fame
Some people live for the power yeah
Some people live just to play the game
Some people think that the physical things
Define what's within
And I've been there before
But that life's a bore
So full of the superficial

Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you

Some people search for a fountain
The promises forever young
Some people need three dozen roses
And that's the only way to prove you love them

Hand me a world on a silver platter
And what good would it be?
With no one to share,
With no one who truly cares for me

Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, you, you

Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you

If I ain't got you with me baby
Nothing in this whole wide world don't mean a thing
If I ain't got you with me baby
